Introduction

The Orchid Laundry is an ondemand laundry, we aim to provide the most convenient and hassle free way to get your laundry done. Using our android app/website, you may schedule a pickup for any time between 09:00 AM and 09:00 PM, any day of the week.

We’ll pick up your clothes, and do all the cleaning and when your clothes are ready, we’ll send you a notification on the app or call you, and you can schedule a delivery at a time that’s convenient for you.

The entire procedure is as mentioned below:

  • 1. Download our app or visit our website, and create an account or signup using Facebook or Google+,
  • 2. Book an order,
  • 3. Order will be picked up by our personal,
  • 4. You get notified about the order details,
  • 5. Your order gets cleaned and gets ready for delivery,
  • 6. You get a notification or confirmation call for delivery,
  • 7. The order get delivered to your place.

We provide 3 kinds of services,

  • Regular Plans:  Includes Wash & Fold, Wash & Iron and Only Ironing,
    • 1. Wash & Fold: Ideal for regular wears, The clothes are sorted by color, texture and fabric, the required procedure is applied as per the experts in the industry, The clothes are then packed without ironing and delivered well in time at your place.
    • 2. Wash & Iron: Ideal for regular wears, corporate attire etc.  The clothes are sorted by color, texture and fabric, the required procedure is applied as per the experts in the industry, The cloth is then steam/electric ironed depending on the fabric. The clothes are then well packed and delivered well in time at your place.
    • 3. Only Ironing:  Ideal for people who have bought washing machines and want to explore the best use of it  The cloth is electric/steam ironed depending on the kind of fabric. The cloth is well packed and delivered.
  • Dry Cleaning:  Ideal for special occasion clothes (party, function and ethnic) and corporate attires. The clothes are pretreated including spot cleaning and stain removals (we do not guarantee stain removal but we make our best efforts) The clothes are well segregated – depending on the fabric and texture. The expert takes the call for the kind of cleaning that needs to be done. The cloth is specially ironed using steam/electric press looking into the kind of fabric. The cloth is well folded, crisp packaging as good as new.
  • Monthly Plans: We have monthly plans suitable for Students as well as working professionals. Plan-699, Plan-999, Plan-1299 & Plan-1999. Validity for all the monthly plans would be 30 days. One can select any of the above mentioned plan based on their comfort.

  • Regular Plans:
    • Wash & Fold: The rate is charged on per Kilogram basis. We charge Rs.60 per Kg for all regular wears except jacket & woolens, while its Rs.80 per Kg for all household items like bed sheets, blanket & curtain etc. and Jacket and woolens.
    • Wash & Iron: The rate is charged on per Kilogram basis. We charge Rs.80 per Kg for all regular wears except jacket & woolens, while its Rs.100 per Kg for all household items like bed sheets, blanket & curtain etc. and Jacket and woolens.
    • Only Ironing: It starts with Rs.7 per piece.
  • Dry Cleaning: The rates are based on per piece, starting Rs. 30 per piece.The cost vary depending on the kind and size of the fabric. please check our price section for more details.
  • Monthly Plans: we also have monthly plans suitable for Students as well as working professionals, Plan-699, Plan-999, Plan-1299, Plan-1999.

Note: A convenience fee of Rs. 20 will be applicable with every order.

In a kilogram, there comes about individually:

  • Shirt - 4-5 piece
  • T-shirt - 5-6 piece
  • Pant - 3-4 piece
  • Jeans - 2-3 piece
  • On an average there comes about 4-5 piece in a Kg, hence about Rs. 15-25 a piece

The service is currently available for Pimpri Chinchwad area, but very soon will be available in Pune area.

We work from 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM. You may schedule a pickup and delivery in this slot.

We have aour operational off on Thursdays.

Sure, while booking the order you may select the kind of service you want to opt. In case, you dint opted for any service and still want to order while pickup, you may. We will get that sorted at our end.

All your data is safe with us. Upon reinstalling the app, you simply need to sign-up using the same mobile number and email ID and the app will fetch your complete data including past bookings and addresses.

Sure. Simply download the app on the new handset and sign-up. However please note that referral code can be used only once with one mobile number.

My Order

To place your first order, simply download our app or visit our website and create an account. Once your account is set up, you can place an order whenever you like by clicking the ‘Book an Appointment’ tab on our website or app. You may also call us on our designated number (+91 70-3090-4141).

That’s what we do. You don’t have to worry. Just be ready with clothes.

You may send us a mail or call us on our designated number.

That’s our role, you will be notified about the same via a confirmation mail/ message and notification via app.

No minimum billing required. However, a convenience fee of Rs 20 will be applicable with every order.

Yes, please visit the order history bar and you may select cancel option for that particular order.

The turn around time varies on the type of order: Wash and Iron: Within 72 hours. Only Ironing: Within 48 Hours. Dry-cleaning: Ranging from 72 to 96 Hours.

As of now NO, we are working on it. We’ll soon come up with express deliveries.

We recommend using latest versions of browsers and app. Also, kindly check if the cookies are enabled and pop-up blockers are disabled. If you are still facing issues in placing an order, you can email us your name, building, area and service type (Dry cleaning, wash & fold, wash & Iron, only Ironing). Cleaning is our job - there is no need to point out stains. We inspect your order multiple times before cleaning, so we will identify and treat any stains with the best possible ways.

Though, if you anything specifics you may mention via call or mail.

As soon as we receive your clothes back at our office, our team gets busy inventorying your order and preparing it for cleaning. You can expect a confirmation of pickup e-mail detailing everything we picked up within 24 hours.

You can expect to receive an itemized receipt via e-mail or message or on app (that will direct you to a PDF copy of invoice) before the delivery. You can view our price list for a list of common items - if you have a specialty item, you can e-mail us at info@theorchidlaundry.com to get an exact price quote.

Few garments under the 'Dry Cleaning’ category like suits, blazers, jackets, sherwani etc. are delivered on hangers. Rest of the clothes are folded well and delivered.

We do not have on-demand hanger delivery services.

The invoice is generated after we cart your clothes into our system and sent to your registered email address and mobile number (via a link). This might take upto 15 hours after pickup. So be patient! Your email client might be putting emails from TOL into your spam folder. Kindly check there too. Your clothes pass through a quality inspection before we process them. If the Quality manager feels that processing your garment might further damage the garment in any way, it would be returned un-processed to you (The same will be informed to you via a call or text). Apologize for any inconvenience caused to you.

We follow a multi-check system to avoid such cases. Soon after the pick-up, we send a notification/sms/mail informing you about the number of clothes picked up in each category.

The carting team tries its best to cart the garments under apt categories. At the same time, we also understand that carting of some garments might be questionable. There might be some instance of carting in wrong category

Referral Program

Yes, if you invite someone to download the app or book an order via website. You get a ₹ 100 credit in your account. The same is eligible when the person whom you have referred to has ordered with us.

It’s simple, just share the code with the person and let that code be used by the that person while installing the app.There are no limits to the number of referrals you can make.

The referral credit may be used on your next order with us on a minimum billing of 400 ₹. The discount is limited to ₹ 100 only, No less no more. The credit accumulated may be availed only up to ₹ 100 in a single order.

Note: Please make sure you select the credits option under “redeem from” option in the order summary before confirming the order.

When you create a booking by checking the 'Credits' option under redeem from or applying coupon code they do get reflected in your invoice as the discount amount. If you don't see it on the invoice, you might have not applied them on the current booking or the person whom you have referred to has not applied while registering. For any other errors, contact us on support.

Pickup and Deliveries

No. If you have previously arranged with us (On call) to pick up or leave your laundry in a secure location there is no need for you to be home for either.

There is no need to separate your colors and whites. We will do that for you. You should, however, be sure that there aren't clothes inside of clothes.

For pickup, the Moustache Man will call you before he reaches your place. Generally, the Moustache Man reaches the place at the designated time.

For delivery, we’ll notify you once the order is ready with us. You may then decide the delivery timings, the Moustache Man will reach by then.

Yes, if that very well falls in the area served by us.

You may notify us about the same on call or by a mail, the needful will be done.

Do not worry, you may notify us about the same. And we will reattempt your delivery on the next possible time as is convenient to you. After 2 failed attempts, the delivery may be scheduled only after 24 hours.
